Picanya de Brasa was good! Meat was tender. Nice little place close in city center. Good service!
We recently dined at this lovely restaurant with fantastic outdoor seating, and it was a wonderful experience. The outdoor area is cozy and inviting, with heaters that kept us warm and comfortable, even as the evening cooled down. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, going out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The menu is extensive and caters to all tastes, so there's something for everyone. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals, and everything was served piping hot, which was a nice touch. The only slight downside was that the mango in the dessert wasn’t quite ripe, but it didn’t take away from the overall great experience. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the food, service, and ambiance made it worth it.
We tried first time Francesinha sandwich with no experience and it was surprisingly good Other tapas were also very good. Central location on the square with nice view on historical buildings.
Had the Minhota rib-eye and picanha steaks here and the taste was excellent. The chef also came to the table to carve the steaks. One of the dish also came with smoked rice and black beans which were also very tasty and sufficient. Very good red wine. Overall an excellent dinner and experience here.
Cozy restaurant in Viana’s city center with a big menu consisting of Portuguese dishes and traditional tapas. We started by ordering some tapas which were medium to small sizes. After we had some dishes like the beef or the cod to complement our dining experience. These were fairly sized and delicious. Carefully if you have a big group, it’s better to have a reserve.
This is an amazing restaurant. Service is fast and quick on the outside, and if you inside, you are introduced to a very nice, upscale restaurant with the same menu. The food is amazing - the best chicken wings (they say spicy but are only delish), stuffed mushrooms with chorizo amazing. You MUST find a way to have their chocolate cake which has fun with every texture possible - it's fabulous. The gelado you must also find a way to try. The salted caramel was the best we have ever had, and that says a lot. We were so glad such a touristy location would be so delightful. From service, to ambiance, to food - we will be back!!
Had lunch (tapas & Francesinha*) at this place in the city centre. Was nice service was great we sat outside, music was a bit loud but manageable. Overall a pleasant experience but did find it expensive compared to other places we have found in the city but a nice place to sit and have a drink at the very least
